I decided to wood-burn the underside of a mushroom cap, also known as the lamella. The purpose of this underside is reproduction, as it produces tiny spores that disperse on air currents. I believe the intricate structure beautifully captures the details of a mushroom. ☻

Recommendation: Do not let this piece sit under long periods of exposure to the sun. Welo Opals are sensitive to long periods of light. Minor amounts are okay, but it can make the colors dim away!
